Error - "No Registration Number was found"

For riteSCAN version 6.44 or higher, this error will occur if the following file does not exist or the client does not have rights to read this file:

This file is created during the registration process by the Administration Application. Please refer to this article for more information: Register riteSCAN version 6.44 or higher


For systems using the UltiDev Web Server:

    C:\Program Files (x86)\riteSOFT\riteSCAN Web Service\License.txt


For systems using IIS:

    C:\inetpub\wwwroot\riteSCANWebService\License.txt

    

    For IIS, please also ensure the following permissions have been setup:

        Grant the "IIS_IUSERS" account the following permissions: Modify, Read & Execute, Read, Write

        Grant the "IIS AppPool\riteSCAN Web Service" account the following permissions: Modify, Read & Execute, Read, Write.
