HTTP Error 500.3 - ASP.NET Core app failed to start


  1. Verify that the Microsoft .Net 8 Windows Server Hosting Bundle is installed on the riteSCAN 8 Server. https://dotnet.microsoft.com/en-us/download/dotnet/8.0
  2. Verify that if there are Plugins being used that the DLL files are the same version as the version of riteSCAN 8 installed. See the Plugins install guide for the location of the DLL Files.
  3. Uninstall and Reinstall riteSCAN 8.
  4. Perform a iisreset on the riteSCAN 8 Server.
  5. Restart the riteSCAN 8 Server.
