This error will appear when logging into riteSCAN after installing or updating to SYSPRO 8 2021 R1 or above while using an old version of the SYSPRO 8 license key that may have previously been working with riteSCAN.
In addition to the error above, the Licensed Run Time Products under Change Company in SYSPRO will also be blank indicating that SYSPRO is expecting a different format to the Licensed Products portion of the SYSPRO License Key XML.
The solution is to reach out to SYSPRO for a new SYSPRO 8 License XML file that has the new format for the Licensed Products portion of the key. Email SYSPRO SalesOpsHelp salesOpsHelp@us.syspro.com and request a new license key.
